In the heart of the Alps, in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoy, Tignes is located in a magnificent circus offering some of the most beautiful slopes in Europe, even in the world. It is on the slopes of Tignes that the greatest international athletes come to train.
Composed of 5 districts, of which the three main ones (Tignes le Lac, Le Lavachet and Le Val Claret) are at an altitude of 2,100 meters, Tignes guarantees exceptional snow cover throughout the season.
In addition to the La Grande Motte glacier, the linked area of Tignes-Val d’Isère covers 300km of slopes from 1550 to 3456 meters above sea level!
The festive village of Val Claret, the calm of the Lavachet district, the dynamism of the resort center in Tignes Le Lac or the proximity to the slpes in les Almes… Each district will appeal to all ages!
